AS68RC - In 2007, a 6-speed gearbox dedicated to SUVs with 4-wheel drive and 5.7-liter V8 engines was introduced to the market. Installed in Land Cruiser, Tundra, Sequoia and Lexus LX570. This box has many names: AS68RC for Dodge RAM, AB60F for FWD, AB60E for RWD and TB-68LS for Aisin Warner. It is considered a very solid gearbox, built on the model of the A760 - A960 gearboxes with RWD drive and the 8-speed AA80E gearbox. The AS68RC competed with the ZF6HP32 gearbox.
