TG-81SC, U881E - The AWF8FXX series is the first series of 8-speed automatic transmissions compatible with cross-mounted engines. Developed by Aisin Warner engineers to occupy the same space as the TF-80SC, but increase the overall gear spread and reduce the spacing between gears. The AWF8F35 was released in 2015 and has become quite popular in BMW, GM, Volvo, Toyota and Lexus models. Differences between TG-81SC modifications include: torque, cooling system, friction discs and drums.
