TW-40E - 4-speed "micro" gearbox with RWD drive. Introduced to the market in 1998. based on the 3-speed A172 predecessor. Installed in Suzuki Jimni, Escudo, Avery (Landy) with engines from 0.7L to 1.3L. Considered modern, economical and durable, with a torque of up to 120 Nm. Ford used its transmission called TW-40E in the Pronto 1.0L until 2007.
