6HP26, GA6HP26Z - 6-speed gearbox released by ZF together with BMW in 2001. Installed in expensive Bentley, Aston Martin and Maserati vehicles with RWD drive and engine capacity up to 6.0L, and from 2006. also installed by Ford, Hyundai, Jaguar and Land Rover. Audi and Volkswagen used their modification of this box called 6HP26A, which was installed in FWD vehicles. It can reach a torque of 600 Nm. It is built on the basis of 6HP19/6HP21 and is itself the basis for the 6HP32 modification with a torque of up to 750 Nm.

6HP26 / GA6HP26Z

6HP26A, 09E - modification of the 6HP26 gearbox with a torque of 600 Nm, dedicated to Audi and Volkswagen cars with FWD drive.

6HP26X - modification intended for AWD vehicles with a separately connected transfer case. The letter "X" at the end of the transmission designation indicates 4-wheel drive.

6HP28 - 6-speed gearbox designed for low fuel consumption and smooth gear changes. It can reach a torque of 650 Nm. It has two modifications: 6HP28 - rear-wheel drive, 6HP28AF - all-wheel drive.

6HP28AF, 0B6 - modification of the 6HP28 gearbox transmitting torque up to 700 Nm.
