TR-60SN - Aisin 6-speed gearbox introduced to the market in 2003. Designed for Porsche Cayenne RWD 4.0L. At the same time, the TF-60SN gearbox was released, dedicated to FWD cars and tested in the Toyota Altezza 2.0L. The 09D was launched with the intention of being a leader in the world of luxury cars from Porsche, Audi and Lexus and competing with the ZF 6HPxx 6-speed gearbox. Used by Audi in Q7 SUVs with engines from 3.0L to 4.2L, since 2007. in Lexus and Land Cruiser SUVs (over 4.6L) with rear-wheel drive and AWD. Over time, several modifications with different torque were created, differing in planetary gears, the number of friction and steel discs and the size of some components and parts. Its successor is the TR-80SD. Aisin designed this box to be as durable as possible - just like other RWD boxes. Still, automakers have tried to adapt their TCM to allow drivers to make the most of its capabilities.
