8F35 / 8F40 / 8F45
8F35 - In 2018, an 8-speed gearbox was launched. This transmission, designed by Ford together with GM, is installed in cars with the 2.0L EcoBoost and 1.5L EcoBlue diesel engines. Some design elements are similar to the 9T50 gearbox.
